My design process
Before I start a project, I first do some research. This might involve studying market competition or seeking inspiration for a design. Starting with an understanding of how the space looks is crucial. I look up key players in the field and begin to think about how I can contribute with my own unique spin. This initial research helps me develop a clear vision and strategy for my project.
I typically do my planning with a pencil and paper. I’ll start by sketching out any ideas I have, along with any words that come to mind related to the project. This helps me capture initial thoughts and concepts that I can elaborate on later during the development stage.
This is where it starts to get fun. Collecting all the content I will need for development and organizing it is the most important part for a smooth development process. By having everything in order, I can ensure that the project runs efficiently and stays on track.
Development is where the vision comes to life. This phase involves bringing together all the gathered content, sketches, and ideas to create a cohesive and functional product. It’s the stage where creativity meets execution, resulting in a final product that hopefully aligns with the initial concept and goals.
Testing is a crucial phase where the project undergoes rigorous evaluation to ensure it functions as intended. This involves checking for bugs, usability issues, and overall performance to ensure a seamless user experience. I test my product across multiple devices to ensure compatibility and optimal performance on various platforms.
